Behind a solid performance from catcher Gary Chalmers, the Port Royal Disaster defeated the Alloway Halberds, 4-2. Chalmers was 4 for 5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times for the Disaster. Port Royal is off to a sluggish start, getting just their 4th win in 18 games.

It could have been a different outcome for Port Royal, had it not been for Sisto Pagnamenta, the 26-year old left fielder . Pagnamenta contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning to put Port Royal up, 4-2.
