The Bloomington Longnecks got a superb performance from pitcher Dustin Richmond, who shut out the Tortolita Drummers, 9-0. Richmond got the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 4 hits and walked 1 over 7 innings. Richmond allowed no earned runs. Bloomington, now 15-1, is setting the league on fire so far.
