Halberds Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
Benefiting from Rafael Delgado's productive game, the Alloway Halberds downed the Vermont Lake Monsters, 13-6. Delgado was 3 for 5 with a triple and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Halberds. At 9-4, the Halberds have played well so far.

Alloway shortstop Jesús Trevino helped the Halberds go up, 6-4, in the top of the fourth inning. With the game tied, Trevino hit a 2-run single off Vermont pitcher Gerry Fleck.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Trevino.
