Disaster Get Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
Port Royal got a strong outing from Roberto Covas as the Disaster defeated the Houston BC, 4-2, at Houston Park. The Disaster, with just their 2nd win in 9 games, have played uninspired baseball so far.

Had Gary Chalmers not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Chalmers hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Disaster.

"I like what I saw today," said Port Royal manager Bobby Robinson, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
