Multi-HR Game for Dotson in 10-5 Win
The Bloomington Longnecks defeated the Alloway Halberds, 10-5, at Lookouts Ballpark. Bloomington shortstop Billy Dotson was named player of the game for his superb performance. He slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Bloomington reliever Anaías Pedroza was credited with the win, to go to 1-0. Ángel Rosas took the loss for Alloway. The loss lowers the Alloway record to 1-1.

Dotson contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Bloomington in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 2-0, Dotson took a fastball from Ángel Rosas and stroked the home run to right. His 2nd home run of the season allowed the Longnecks to leap in front, 3-2.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Dotson told the Bloomington Citizen.
