Tritons Bang Out 12-9 Win Versus Calgary
In a high-scoring game between Jersey City and Calgary, third baseman Zahid Kashani was a difference-maker. The 21-year-old earned player of the game honors in the 12-9 Jersey City win. He was 3-5 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. António Alomar got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 7 runs on 7 hits in 5 innings. "It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Kashani told the Jersey City Daily. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."
