Loss Extends San Antonio Losing Streak
|
The Irving Blue Sox topped the San Antonio BC, 6-1, in USSL Double A action at Blue Sox Ballpark. The player of the game was Irving right fielder Cisco Hernández. Willie Simmons closed the game out for Irving, earning his 1st save. The BC have now dropped 7 straight.
Hernández had a key at-bat for Irving early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and gave Irving an early 2-0 lead.
"Feels good to get the job done," Hernández said after the game.
