The Westwood Sixshooters met little resistance from the San Antonio BC, beating them 11-2 at San Antonio Field. José Vázquez led the way. He was 4-5 with 2 triples and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for Westwood. Westwood reliever Raúl Colón picked up the win to move to 4-2. Pete Venegas suffered the loss. The last-place BC have lost 4 consecutive games.

It could have been a different outcome for Westwood, had it not been for Mitchell Cusimano, the 25-year old shortstop . Cusimano contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put Westwood up, 1-0.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Cusimano said.
