Rosenbalm Helps Blue Sox Run Win Streak to 4
Irving first baseman Myron Rosenbalm made his presence felt in the 15-4 Blue Sox triumph over the Salem Misfits. Rosenbalm went 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Joel Farrell picked up the win, improving his season record to 9-7. He struck out 5 in 7.1 innings. Irving has now won 4 straight.

It could have been a different outcome for Irving, had it not been for Tom Boyer, the 24-year old shortstop . Boyer contributed a 3-run home run in the bottom of the second inning to put Irving up, 6-3.
