The Long Island Seawolves topped the Springfield Shooters by the score of 6-4, with the largest share of the credit going to left fielder Rob McGinnity. McGinnity was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Seawolves. John Kraan, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 8th save. The Seawolves' win now puts them at 35-34.

McGinnity had a game-changing double in the top of the seventh. On a 0-1 fastball from Rex Negrete, he banged a 2-run double to right, giving the Seawolves a 6-4 lead. It was the 10th double of the year for McGinnity.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said McGinnity.
