Misfits Fall to Rapiers, 8-2

Durham and Salem got after it at Ricochets Ballpark.
Durham Rapiers starter Steve Seabolt had all his pitches working at Ricochets Ballpark. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 8-2 Durham win over the Salem Misfits. Seabolt went 5.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 2, and struck out 3. His record improves to 7-2.
Alberto Garza had a big 2-run triple for the Rapiers in the top of the second inning. With Durham leading 3-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Stefan Famintsyn and stroked the triple to left-center. It was his 3rd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Rapiers ahead, 5-0.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Garza. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
Durham is now 24-15, while Salem is 23-16.
