The Springfield Shooters picked up a win at Sixshooters Stadium, knocking off the Westwood Sixshooters, 4-2. Starting pitcher Mike McKay, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The save went to Tomás Galván, his 4th this season. The Sixshooters, at 3-15, have stumbled out of the gate.

Billy Dotson, who is rated as the 5th best prospect by BNN, helped out the Springfield cause in the top of the first inning with a run-scoring triple. For the game, the shortstop was 3-5 with a triple and a double.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said McKay.
