The Long Island Seawolves relied on the hitting of right fielder Wilson López to stop the San Antonio BC, 18-3. For the game, López went 2-3 with a home run, a triple, and a walk. He drove in 7 runs and scored once. Jamey Crockett, credited with the win, is now 2-0. He allowed 3 runs on 3 hits in 7.1 innings. The Seawolves, now 6-0, have hit the ground running this season.

López had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the first, when he hit a grand slam. The Seawolves went on to win.
