Humpbacks Walk Off with Win
The Alaskan Humpbacks topped the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 2-1, in M3L Triple A action at Sea World. The player of the game was Alaskan pitcher and Phoenix, Arizona native Ira Hipps. With the victory, the Humpbacks record now stands at 47-52.

The Humpbacks beat the Red Pandas in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out single Rob Morse produced in the bottom of the 14th. Batting against Sioux Falls pitcher Shigeko Sakoda, Morse gave his team a 2-1 lead when he hit a walk-off run-scoring single.

"It was terrific getting this win," Morse said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
