The Pure Michigan Great Lakers got a superb performance from pitcher Martín Flores, but the Sioux Falls Red Pandas still won the game, 5-4. Flores was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 7 innings of shutout ball. The win was Miguel Cervantes's in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Noah Shellenbarger took the loss for Pure Michigan. Sioux Falls is now 38-51, Pure Michigan 53-36.

It could have been a different outcome for Sioux Falls, had it not been for Juan Aguirre, the 30-year old second baseman . Aguirre contributed a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the tenth inning to put Sioux Falls up, 5-4.
