The Red Pandas faced a stiff challenge from Pennsauken pitcher Vincent O'Higgin, but persevered to claim a win at Pennsauken Park. The final score was 2-1. O'Higgin went 8 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Even with the win, the Red Pandas have a dismal 17-33 record.
It could have been a different outcome for Sioux Falls, had it not been for Steve Jones, the 28-year old right fielder . Jones contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the ninth inning to put Sioux Falls up, 2-1.
