Men Turn Back Pennsauken, 6-4
|
Starting pitcher Juan Reyes pitched well enough to help the Florida Men beat the Pennsauken Flyers by the score of 6-4. Reyes picked up the win for Florida, going 7 innings. He gave up 4 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 4-4. The save went to Arturo Guerrero, his 3rd this season.
The Men got a big at-bat from second baseman Israel Sanders. For the game, Sanders was 1-4 with a double and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the fourth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 8th double of the season gave Florida a 4-3 lead.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Reyes.
The Men now have a record of 18-28 with the win over Pennsauken.
