Dodgers Fall to .500 After Loss to Thundercats
|
Richardson City starter Jesús Gonzáles pitched effectively against the Brooklyn Dodgers at The Thunder Dome. The left-hander led his team to a 4-1 win. Gonzáles went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 2 hits, walked 1, and struck out 4. His record improves to 3-2. Getting the save was Mike Farrell, his 1st.
Pedro Castillo chipped in for Richardson City, stroking a crucial run-scoring single in the bottom of the second inning. For the game, the left fielder was 2 for 4 with 2 singles.
