Red Pandas Drop Another One
|
Santa Barbara beat Sioux Falls at Crane Field, eking out a 4-3 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Leroy Picot, who earned player of the game honors. Sioux Falls's current losing streak is now 5 games.
Robert Adams went 1 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Santa Barbara. In the bottom of the eighth, with the teams deadlocked, 3-3, Adams delivered for the Golden Cranes. His run-scoring sacrifice fly put Santa Barbara on top, 4-3.
"It was a solid team effort," said Adams after the game.
