Hatsutori Goes Wild, But Red Pandas Win
Despite a fine performance by first baseman Iemitsu Hatsutori, the Florida Men suffered a 8-7 loss to the Sioux Falls Red Pandas. Hatsutori went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Sioux Falls reliever Orlando Uribe got the win, raising his record to 2-2. Tadayoshi Tanaka was tagged with the loss. Sioux Falls is now 12-17.

Sioux Falls designated hitter Magali Lenidas contributed to the cause with a 2-run double in the bottom of the second. For the game, Lenidas went 2-3 with 2 doubles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Florida manager . "But we decided not to take it."
