Flyers Get Road Win, 8-4
|
The Pennsauken Flyers topped the Alaskan Humpbacks by the score of 8-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to left fielder Marc Beck. Beck went 2 for 2 with 2 singles and 3 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Flyers on the day. Riley Breckenridge recorded the save for Pennsauken, his 2nd of the season. Pennsauken is now 9-15, while Alaskan is 9-15.
Also making an impact was third baseman Roy McFerran, who drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning for the Flyers. For the game, McFerran went 2 for 4 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 runs.
"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Beck.
