Golden Cranes Topple Coyotes with Late Rally

Santa Barbara second baseman Ed St. James had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Hamilton Coyotes, 11-5. Santa Barbara goes to 14-9, Hamilton to 4-19.
The most important at-bat for Santa Barbara came in the top of the ninth inning, when catcher Héctor Moreno stroked a 2-1 changeup to left for a 2-run home run, putting Santa Barbara up, 6-5.
In comments to the Santa Barbara Observer, St. James admitted that he doesn't always push himself. "But the results," he said, "speak for themselves."
