Golden Cranes Win Streak Reaches 8
|
Santa Barbara Golden Cranes starter Rocky Lannan was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 3-2. At 10-6, the Golden Cranes have played well so far.
A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and no one out in the top of the seventh inning. That's when catcher Logan Manning, who is tied for 8th in the 3AAA with a .450 on-base percentage, hit a double. The Golden Cranes went on to win.
"I like what I saw today," said Santa Barbara manager William Franklin, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
