A nice crowd turned out to see the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds and Hialeah Dodos clash at Dodos Ballpark.

The Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds bested the Hialeah Dodos by a score of 8-4, with shortstop Vicente Castaneda getting the main credit. On the day, Castaneda was 3-4 with a home run, a triple, a double, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Fighting Dachsunds. Earning his 2nd save for Ellenburg was Félix Santiago.

Castaneda had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the top of the first inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Fighting Dachsunds went on to win.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Castaneda said after the game.

Ellenburg, now 5-2, has played well in the early going.
