Red Pandas Prevail, 3-1, Over Santa Barbara

Art Adams pitched well, but his team, the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes, still dropped a 3-1 decision to the Sioux Falls Red Pandas at The Bamboo Forest. Sioux Falls reliever Don Miller got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Art Adams was tagged with the loss. Tate Beason recorded the save for Sioux Falls, his 1st of the season.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the sixth, with the game tied, John Brewer was at the plate when Sioux Falls scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Red Pandas to go in front, 2-1.
Brewer called the triumph "a good team win."
With the loss, Santa Barbara sinks to 0-3.
