Renaissance Win Again, Extend Streak to 11
|
Detroit Renaissance starter Maru Pao Pao was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Montana Pandas, 4-2. Tsugahara Hori closed the game out for Detroit, earning his 6th save. The Renaissance keep rolling, raising their record to 17-3.
Had Quincy van Enk not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, van Enk hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Renaissance.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Pao Pao.
