Flores Wins PAA Player of the Week Prize Monday, August 13th, 2029 Ramón Flores has been in a real groove lately. The 21-year-old Myrtle Beach Mermen shortstop nabbed USPL Double A Player of the Week honors today after beating up on opposing pitchers all last week. Flores's hot streak featured 9 hits in 23 at-bats, 3 home runs, 6 RBIs, 6 runs scored and a .391 average. This season Flores is swinging the bat at a .351 rate with 54 hits in 154 at-bats. To date he has hit 4 home runs, scored 28 runs and driven in 20. |
