Richland Ace Wins PAA Outstanding Pitcher Award Saturday, October 6th, 2029 The Richland clubhouse staff referred to him as "the kid" this season. Next year Shotaro Sugahara will have to have a new nickname. He earned it after winning the 2029 USPL Double A Outstanding Pitcher Award. Sugahara made 21 starts this year, winning 11 and losing 2. He threw 134.1 innings, fanned 88, allowed 107 hits and 28 walks, while holding opposing teams to a .219 average as he logged an impressive 2.34 ERA. Damien Hayward of the Salem Misfits finished second in voting, while Malulani Anakone of the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles finished third. |
