Rails Sugahara Named PAA's Best Pitcher Monday, October 1st, 2029 There's something about a young rookie winning the USPL Double A Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with Shotaro Sugahara, a 25-year-old starter for the Richland Rails. In September, he topped off the month with a 3-0 mark and 0.82 ERA in 3 starts, tossed 22 innings, fanned 15 and held opposing teams to a .145 average. Reviewing his career stats, Sugahara has worked 134.1 innings with 88 strikeouts en route to a 11-2 record. The 25-year-old also has a 2.34 ERA. |
