Shigeko Sakoda Out for Season Friday, July 13th, 2029 A blow for Shigeko Sakoda today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 7 months with a torn rotator cuff. Sakoda suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Billings Polar Bears are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Sakoda's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. To date this year Sakoda has won 4 and lost 1 with a 4.83 ERA, 2 saves and 45 strikeouts in 20 relief appearances. |
