Rawhides Johnson Suspended Tuesday, July 10th, 2029 Kevin Johnson was incensed today after he was suspended by the commissioner's office for 3 games following a wild argument at the Belvedere Park-Casper game. The league cited the Rawhides right fielder for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct," in the notification letter. Johnson strongly objected to a questionable call by the home plate umpire and was ejected. "Ejection? Maybe. But not suspension. It's ludicrous is what it is. It's totally uncalled for. I have no idea why. You have to ask the people in the league office that wear the coats and ties and don't get on the field. I didn't cause the altercation, the umpire did. It was a lousy call." Johnson is hitting .260 this year with 3 home runs and 11 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .363, 22 walks and scored 31 times. |
