Rodríguez Slaps 5 Hits Monday, July 9th, 2029 Shooters left fielder Armando Rodríguez had his way with Billings pitching today at The Igloo and mauled them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Polar Bears ruined his great day by toppling the Shooters, 7-6. "I had a great day, but you've got to give Billings credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits." "Oh, we noticed what Rodríguez did today," Polar Bears skipper Todd England said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." Armando Rodríguez hit a two-run single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
