3AA Pitcher of the Month Goes to Torres Monday, October 1st, 2029 Any time a rookie makes a splash on the scene, it's got to be great for his career potential. Just ask Víctor Torres, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Glendale Herons reliever, 24, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .211 average and walked away with the M3L Double A Pitcher of the Month award for September. Torres posted a 2-0 mark and a 1.59 ERA in 7 relief appearances. In 11.1 innings, he had 2 saves, 10 strikeouts, and 3 walks. In his 83-game career, Torres's won-lost record is 11 wins and 7 losses with a 1.81 ERA and 89 strikeouts in 109.2 innings. He has been credited with 21 saves. |
