Tuesday, September 18th, 2029
The news is bad in Marquette. The Miners have lost the services of starting pitcher Seymour Hummel for the rest of the season due to shoulder inflammation. Hummel was injured in a recent game with the Springfield Shooters while throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 4-5 months.
In the current season in 12 starts, Seymour Hummel has a record of 3-2 with 39 strikeouts in 77 innings and a 2.92 ERA.
