San Bernardino Shortstop Nets 3AA Award Monday, September 17th, 2029 24-year-old Oscar Gandarilla made a few San Bernardino headlines during this past week as the rookie shortstop proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and M3L Double A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 8 hits in 16 at-bats to put up a .500 average. Gandarilla collected 1 home run, 2 RBIs and scored 6 runs. For the season, Gandarilla is hitting at a .288 clip with 2 home runs, 33 RBIs and has scored 41 runs. He has 83 hits, 28 walks and a .357 on-base percentage. |
