Ruíz No-Hits Seawolves Sunday, September 16th, 2029 It was the game that pitchers dream about: the no-hitter. It happened today at Ballpark of Remsen. Alfredo Ruíz of the San Bernardino Grasshoppers was right on target against the Long Island Seawolves in a 8-0 victory. Ruíz zeroed in on them, holding them hitless with 8 strikeouts and 4 walks. "I just had it all today," Ruíz told BNN reporters after the game. "Very good stuff and great location. That is a combination that's hard to beat." So far this year Ruíz has made 8 starts, tossed 75.2 innings, struck out 86 batters and walked 48. His record is 7-2 with a 3.57 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .250 batting average.
