Ken Clarke Out for Season Thursday, September 13th, 2029 A blow for Ken Clarke today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 11-12 months with a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. Clarke suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Ottawa Nationals are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Clarke's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. To date this year Clarke has won 1 and lost 1 with a 6.97 ERA, no saves and 9 strikeouts in 7 relief appearances. |
