Marquette Shortstop Nets 3AA Award Monday, September 3rd, 2029 21-year-old Juan Tellado made a few Marquette headlines during this past week as the rookie shortstop proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and M3L Double A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 11 hits in 23 at-bats to put up a .478 average. Tellado collected 1 home run, 12 RBIs and scored 4 runs. Tellado is hitting at a .294 mark this season. His stats show 3 home runs, 62 RBIs and 49 runs scored. He has played 92 games for the Miners. |
