Red-Hot Burch Scorches Disaster Tuesday, July 10th, 2029 Jim Burch really sizzled at the plate in today's 13-0 win over Disaster. The Tortolita catcher blistered Port Royal for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. "Burch was too tough to get out today," the Disaster skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Jim Burch singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Dennis Brown in the 8th.
