Middendorf Earns SAAA Player of the Week Monday, September 17th, 2029 So far in his young career, Vito Middendorf has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USSL Triple A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Alloway Halberds shortstop hit at a torrid .529 clip as he collected 9 hits in 17 at-bats, 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and 4 runs scored. This season Middendorf is swinging the bat at a .257 pace. He has hit 10 home runs and scored 42 times, while driving in 51. His on-base percentage is .298 and he has played in 97 games. |
