Martínez and Hernández Brawl, League Suspends Them Sunday, September 2nd, 2029 After an intense confrontation, both the Lynx Jesús Martínez and the Disaster Miguel Hernández were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Calgary-Port Royal game. Both players will miss 8 games as a result of their actions. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Jesús Martínez commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Martínez is hitting .261 this year with 15 home runs and 59 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .321, 28 walks and scored 36 times.
