Montoya Wins PAAA Best Player Award Monday, August 20th, 2029 So far in his young career, Miguel Montoya has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USPL Triple A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 25-year-old Milton Dogfish Head center fielder hit at a torrid .467 clip as he collected 7 hits in 15 at-bats, 3 home runs, 5 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This season Montoya is swinging the bat at a .235 pace. He has hit 13 home runs and scored 48 times, while driving in 36. His on-base percentage is .311 and he has played in 77 games. |
