Naperville Loses Mendoza for Year Wednesday, August 1st, 2029 The season is apparently over for Alberto Mendoza. The Naperville Battlekings medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 6-7 months with shoulder inflammation. Mendoza was hurt in the game against Gryfindor while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. This year Mendoza has gone 4-1 with an ERA of 2.31 and has 40 strikeouts in 50.2 innings. |
