Rinck Rips Houston for 6 Hits Wednesday, July 18th, 2029 Battlekings center fielder Bill Rinck had his way with Houston pitching today at Constellation Ballpark and mauled them for 6 hits in 7 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the BC ruined his great day by toppling the Battlekings, 7-3. "I had a great day, but you've got to give Houston credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 6 hits." "Oh, we noticed what Rinck did today," BC skipper Glenn Boyer said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." Bill Rinck singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th, singled in the 11th, singled in the 13th and walked in the 16th.
