Ramón Ortega Out for Season Tuesday, September 18th, 2029 A blow for Ramón Ortega today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 10 months with a torn rotator cuff. Ortega suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Houston BC are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Ortega's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. To date this year Ortega has won 2 and lost 16 with a 7.09 ERA, no saves and 21 strikeouts in no relief appearances. |
