Tremont No Match for Macías Friday, August 24th, 2029 José Macías of the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds humiliated the Tremont Doubledays at Dog Park in Ellenburg today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 3 hits. "He's got a bunch of different arm angles and his ball was really moving," said Tremont manager Lendon Tipton, after the game. Macías whiffed 8 and walked 1 in the 5-0 win. "If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Macías said. "I was making good pitches the entire game." So far this year Macías has made 19 starts, tossed 124 innings, struck out 66 batters and walked 52. His record is 4-11 with a 5.08 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .255 batting average.
