Abdel Alamini Out for Season Monday, August 20th, 2029 A blow for Abdel Alamini today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 9 months with a stretched elbow ligament. Alamini suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Phoenix Hotspur U-21 are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Alamini's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. So far this year Alamini has made 16 starts, tossed 102.2 innings, struck out 98 batters and walked 36. His record is 6-5 with a 3.07 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .230 batting average. |
