Hotspur U-21, Alamini Blank Chicago Sunday, August 12th, 2029 In an outstanding mound performance, Phoenix Hotspur U-21 starter Abdel Alamini fired a complete-game shutout against the Chicago Tula at Ramblers Ballpark today. Alamini was the key to the Hotspur U-21's 3-0 win. The 22-year-old right-hander was in high spirits on the mount for much of the game, his mood largely undented by the 3 hits and 1 walk he allowed. "3 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter as long as it was a shutout." So far this year Alamini has made 15 starts, tossed 98 innings, struck out 94 batters and walked 36. His record is 6-5 with a 2.94 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .218 batting average.
