Season Ends for Greyfriars Bobby of Myrtle Beach Tuesday, August 21st, 2029 The season is ending on a bad note for Greyfriars Bobby, reliever for the Myrtle Beach Seahawks. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Bobby was hurt against the Syracuse Storm while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn rotator cuff and will be out for at least 10 months. To date this year Bobby has won 1 and lost 0 with a 1.26 ERA, 3 saves and 14 strikeouts in 6 relief appearances. |
