Dave Maxwell Out for Season Wednesday, August 8th, 2029 A blow for Dave Maxwell today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 11 months with a torn posterior cruciate ligament. Maxwell suffered the injury running the bases. Although officials from the Syracuse Storm are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Maxwell's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. Maxwell is hitting .286 this year with no home runs and 11 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .400, 30 walks and scored 13 times. |
